View from The Sea

On Saturday I went to have lunch at my friend's house near Grand Bay. Her name is Isadora and she lives in Washington DC, she is just here on holiday. She is Mauritian, but her mom is from Colombia; it was very nice to get to speak Spanish to someone around here. Her dad took us on a ride in his speed boat, but there seemed to be some trouble with one of the engines; no fuel was reaching the carburetor, so there was really no "speed." However, it was very nice! The weather was a little cold in the morning, but by the time we were on the boat it was very pleasant.
